Lourdes Lorenzo García

Lourdes Lorenzo García is senior lecturer at the Faculty of Philology and Translation, where she teaches at the graduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. She is convenor of the Bachelor’s Degree in Translation Studies, as well as general coordinator of student internships and work placements. She is co-founder of the Spanish Association of Research on Children’s Literature (ANILIJ) and currently acts as its treasurer. For over twenty years, her research has focused on Children’s Literature Translation & Screen Translation, and she has more than 70 publications in the disciplines of subtitling for the deaf and hard of hearing, dubbing and multimedia translation.
