Los frutos de opuntia dillenii haw y sus acciones farmacológicas

Esta tesis estudia el cactus Opuntia Dinelii Haw. Éste crece en regiones semidesérticas en los trópicos y subtrópicos, incluso en las Islas Canarias. Existen ciertas evidencias en la medicina tradicional que muestran que los extractos de su fruto son útiles para el tratamiento de patologías gastrointestinal y hepáticas. Es usado también para el tratamiento de la tos, problemas bronquiales y asma.
 
This thesis studies the Opuntia Dinelii Haw cactus. It grows up in semi-desert regions in the tropics and subtropics, and even in the Canary Islands. There is some evidence in the traditional medicine that shows that its fruit extracts are useful for the treatment of gastrointestinal and hepatic diseases. It is also used for cough treatments, bronchial problems and asthma.
