El VIII Simposio Internacional de Ciencias del Mar (ISMS 2022) se celebró durante 2022, en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Es un espacio de reunión consolidado para personas investigadoras y expertas a nivel internacional en ciencias marinas. ISMS 2022 implica una amplia participación internacional. Se prioriza las sesiones transdisciplinares, junto con la presencia de la ciencia ciudadana, con el fin de fortalecer las conexiones entre diferentes disciplinas y entre ciencia y sociedad.
The VIII International Symposium of Marine Science (ISMS 2022) was celebrated during 2022, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is one of the most important appointment for marine sciences in the world. ISMS 2022 involve an extensive international participation. Transdisciplinary sessions will be given priority, together with the presence of citizen science, in order to strengthen the connections between different disciplines and between science and society.
